Use The New Amazon Cloud Drive Service with iOS

Amazon introduced a new Cloud Drive service offering browser-based file storage and music streaming. In the countries where this is offered, anyone with an Amazon account can receive 5 GB of free storage.

Unfortunately, the service doesn't work with Mobile Safari. But if you use a third-party browser on your iOS device which enables you to change the User Agent setting, like Atomic Browser (US $1) or Mobile iCab (US $2), then simply set it to use desktop Safari as the User Agent and the Amazon service works fine.

[crarko adds: I haven't tested this one, but it makes sense to me.]

Ballmer wants Microsoft store count to match Apple's

Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer wants to outdo Apple in the sheer number of retail stores but has been held back by poor results at what few stores he has, according to sources. The stores are designed to mimic Apple's design, which is meant to serve as a halo for the brand, but don't have the according traffic, SAI learned....

It expected to make between $2.48 billion to $2.84 billion, a steep fall off from the roughly $4.06 billion it made at the same point in 2010. iPad 2 Will Dominate the Market

Writing that iPad 2 is ?one-third thinner, 15 percent lighter, and twice as fast,? while still getting ?10 hours of battery life on a charge,? The New York Times? David Pogue predicts that iPad will continue to ?dominate the market, because it dominates in all the most important criteria: thinness, weight, integration, beauty ? and apps.? Aside from its thin profile, which makes the competition look ?obese,? Pogue notes that ?the shocker here?is that the iPad 2 actually costs less than its comparably equipped Android rivals,? which ?may turn a lot of heads.?
